Three alarm clocks on a concrete floor showing different times

no region would takes its title from a mishearing: a mondegreen that turns a familiar phrase into something unstable and hard to place.

An array of clocks spreads across the floor in two opposing time structures that reference global time zones while quietly undoing their coherence. Each clock marks a different moment, and no single present emerges. Time disperses across the room, synchronization falters, and orientation slips.

At the center, a bottle and a radio sit along an implied boundary that echoes the International Date Line, a division that exists only by agreement. Signals drift with no clear origin or destination, and fragments of sound pass between recognition and noise.

Drawing on the systems that organize time and place, the work holds them open. Orientation stays fluid, and locating oneself in time or geography remains an open question.
