Oillusion

image becomes structure
kugenuma is a multimodal art collaborative working across installation, moving image, sound, and text. Their projects investigate sociocultural conditions through fieldwork, often unfolding as site responsive environments that move between documentation and constructed narrative.
Oillusion
A multimedia installation that brings together projected image, printed material, and spatial intervention into a distributed field of perception. Visual elements move across architectural surfaces, fragmenting and reassembling through light, shadow, and reflection.
The work operates through layered systems of image and information. Archival materials, diagrams, and constructed imagery intersect with projected environments, creating a shifting condition where representation and structure begin to overlap.
Rather than presenting a fixed narrative, Oillusion unfolds as a navigable space. Viewers move between surfaces, images, and references, encountering a field in which perception is continuously redirected and reconfigured.
