silence moves faster

silence moves faster is a participatory sound installation that invites visitors to generate sound through listening, improvisation, and collective interaction. The work unfolds through the actions of its participants, with each encounter producing a unique sonic environment.

Existing somewhere between sculpture and instrument, the installation creates conditions for shared acts of listening. Visitors explore relationships between gesture, resonance, balance, and chance, allowing each activation to become a temporary composition shaped through collective attention.

silence moves faster continues as an evolving body of research into listening, participation, and collective composition. Current iterations expand the work through community engagement, public space, and collaborative sound-making.
